·        NB The number of balloons each cylinder will inflate cannot be guaranteed.   It may be affected by temperature, weather conditions and the competence of the individual operator.   Over inflation will seriously reduce the number of balloons which can be inflated by each cylinder.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

 

·        Every cylinder is supplied with a balloon filling valve to make it possible to blow up your balloons and a 10” gauge to assist you in obtaining uniformity and to get the optimum usage of the gas.

·        Cylinders are collectable or can be delivered within a 5 mile radius at a cost of £10.

·        The hire period is normally one week.   This time may be extended to a maximum of 4 weeks on request.

·        A deposit (either cash or cheque) will be required at point of hire against the safe return of the cylinder and valve.    If these items are not returned within the hire period or are lost or damaged the deposit or part of it will be forfeit.   Make sure you retain the receipt for your deposit and return it with the cylinder.

·        The cylinder and valve remain the property of Beautiful Balloons.

·        Latex balloons will need to be inflated on the day of your party and as close as possible to the start time as float time is limited and your balloons will start to go down.    A 10” balloon float time is 10-12 hours.

·        Full operating instructions will be provided on collection/delivery.

·        Please read the safety and usage instructions given below.    You will be asked to sign and confirm that you have read and understood these at time of hire.

 

 

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR CYLINDER OF BALLOON GAS

 

 

 

  1. Helium gas is a safe, non-flammable, non-poisonous gas which is lighter than air.   It can be used safely either indoors or outside.  
  2. You should never deliberately inhale helium gas as it is an asphyxiant.
  3. Store the cylinder in an upright position and secure to prevent toppling.  
  4. Always keep the cylinder in a well ventilated area.   Do not store in damp areas.   Fire hazards and sources of heat should be avoided.
  5. In the event of fire, vacate the area and call the Fire Brigade informing them that the cylinder of helium gas is there.
  6. To avoid accidents, as helium gas is stored at high pressure, the cylinder valve should never be opened with the appropriate filling kit attached and should be tightly closed when the cylinder is not in use.
  7. Ensure there is good ventilation when cylinders are carried in vans or cars and that cylinders are always secured during transit.  
  8. You must always remove the filling kit if moving the cylinder any distance or ceasing to use it.   Remember to turn off the cylinder valve and release pressure in the filling kit before removing it.
